At a time when all that we care about is under attack by the Trump Administration, Jackie Elward is the real leader the North Bay needs to protect our neighbors, defend our values, and secure our way of life.
Jackie is a Rohnert Park Councilwoman, educator, labor organizer, and immigrant with deep roots in the North Bay. She’s never been afraid to speak truth to power or to stand up for what’s right.

We all know these are dangerous times. Our climate policies, our healthcare, our trade relationships, our schools and universities, our immigrant and LGBTQ+ neighbors, our right to organize and fight for wages and benefits, and our free speech and due process rights are all at risk.
As we face these challenges from the White House, we must also stay focused on the many crises rooted in the North Bay. Wildfire and drought risk remain an existential threat to all our communities. We are still wrestling with housing affordability and homelessness. We must be vigilant in ensuring that the North Bay gets its fair share from the state for road and transit improvements, public safety, and economic development. One of our most important institutions of higher learning, Sonoma State University, is experiencing a crisis in leadership that is hurting students and putting entire majors and sporting programs in jeopardy.

Throughout it all, we can count on Jackie to be our champion. In the State Assembly, she’ll never back down from fighting for us.
